Join us for an exciting 5 days total 3-hour per day camp where creativity comes to life! Our amazing pottery instructor will guide you through the fun of working with clay. You'll learn to use the pottery wheel and explore hand-building techniques, finishing off your creations with beautiful glazes. After firing your masterpieces in our kilns, you'll be contacted to pick them up and enjoy your fantastic clay projects at home!

2 Day Workshop or Friday Date night.

Looking for a date night that is anything but ordinary? Join us at our studio in Guelph for a playful, hands-on pottery experience for couples. In this class, you and your partner can share one wheel or have your own pottery wheel and create a piece together and or separate whether it’s a mug, bowl, or whatever your hands dream up.

No experience is needed — just bring a sense of fun and a willingness to get a little messy. The class begins with a guided demo from our instructor, who will provide support as much or as little as you need while you shape your creation together.

Once your piece is complete, it will be bisque fired, glazed, and kiln fired to make it food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe, so you can enjoy your handmade creation at home.

This workshop is a fun and creative way to connect, collaborate, and get your hands dirty together.

Please arrive on time as other people may be participating in the workshop. Please wear clothes you’re comfortable getting messy in, as well as a small towel and something to tie up long hair! Due to space restrictions in the studio, all creations must be collected within 45 days.

Immerse yourself in the world of wheel-thrown ceramics in this 6-week beginner pottery course. Designed to build confidence, skill, and a deeper connection to clay, this course is perfect for anyone who has never touched a pottery wheel or has only tried it a few times.
Each 2-hour class is led by one of our amazing instructors, providing personalized guidance tailored to your pace and experience level. You will learn to throw, trim, and glaze your own functional ceramic pieces, gaining hands-on experience and creative skills that last a lifetime.
By the end of the course, you will have created several small ceramic pieces, such as mugs, bowls, and mini vases, all bisque fired, glazed, and kiln fired to be food safe and dishwasher safe, ready to take home.
Week by Week Breakdown:
Week 1 – Introduction to the Wheel
Learn to wedge your clay properly
Watch a full wheel throwing demonstration
Practice centering, pulling, and shaping basic forms like cups or cylinders
Get familiar with pottery tools and the wheel through hands-on practice
Week 2 – Throwing and Technique Refinement
Learn to trim the bases of dried pieces on the wheel
Build on the basics with continued wheel throwing practice
Learn to shape your clay into more defined forms such as taller vessels
Focus on improving consistency, height, and wall thickness
Week 3 – Trimming and Hand building Add-Ons
Keep learn to trim from the pieces the week before and the bases of dried pieces on the wheel
Explore by adding handles or decorative details
Refine forms and prepare pieces for the first firing
Week 4 - Throwing and Trimming
Build on the basics with continued wheel throwing practice
Keep trimming your pieces with the bases of dried pieces on the wheel
Week 5 – Glazing and Underglazing
Learn to shape your clay into more defined forms such as bowls
Experiment with surface design using underglaze painting or carving techniques
Choose from a selection of studio glazes to finish your work
Learn basic glaze application and how different finishes affect the final result
Week 6 - Finishing Glazing
Continued to underglaze painting or carving techniques
Choose from a selection of studio glazes to finish your work
Join us at our Toronto pottery studio for a hands-on, creative, and immersive beginner pottery course that sets you up for success on the wheel.

Our Journey
Birthday parties are $25.00 per child, includes colourful Bisque painting, private table, plates & napkins, birthday banners and party host, no minimum kids.
No deposit necessary!
Birthday party hand building with Clay, $30.00 per child,10 kids and less, build a snowman or a monster. They will be having fun with clay and paint it the same day.
